FAQ

What people ask before starting

Does it work for my specialty?

Today it covers dentistry, general medicine, psychology, nutrition, optical stores, clinical labs and dental labs. When you create your workspace you choose what you do and the system adapts: the record (tooth chart, vital signs, session notes, body measurements or eye exam), the diagnosis catalog, the consent templates and even the wording (chair, room or cubicle). A clinical lab has no patient record: it gets its test catalog, requests, results and the link with clinics; a dental lab gets its clients’ cases. If you’re a specialist, the general medicine setup works for you; write to us and we’ll fine-tune it with you.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in the browser on any computer, tablet or phone. Your clinic gets its own address, for example yourclinic.mymedical.mx.

Is my data separate from other clinics?

Yes. Each clinic has its own database. Nobody from another clinic can see your patients, your schedule or your records.

Does it comply with NOM-004?

It’s designed around what the Mexican regulation requires: notes signed with name, license number, date and time that can’t be deleted; amendments linked to the original note; consent forms with witnesses; and a log of who views each record. Compliance also depends on how your clinic uses it.

How much does it cost?

You start with a 14-day trial, no card required. Then you choose a plan: Esencial $299, Consultorio $699, Clínica $1,199 or Red $2,499 a month in Mexican pesos, VAT included. You can change plans or cancel anytime. See what each one includes.

What happens if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted. We remind you before it expires and give you a few grace days where everything keeps working. If it isn’t paid, your clinic becomes read-only: you can view and print your records (as NOM-004 requires) and ask us for a full export of your information, but you can’t book or bill. As soon as you pay, everything is back.

Can I invoice my patients?

Yes, with CFDI 4.0 in your clinic’s name. You enter your RFC, tax regime and postal code, and upload your SAT digital seals (CSD) once; they’re handed encrypted to the stamping provider and we don’t store them. Then you invoice from the register: full payments in one installment, treatments in installments with a payment supplement for each one, and a monthly global invoice for what nobody asked to invoice. The PDF and XML reach the patient by email. Each plan includes stamps every month; if you need more, you buy a pack from your clinic (50 for $99, 200 for $299, 500 for $599 or 1,000 for $999, VAT included) and those never expire.

Can I use my clinic’s own domain?

Yes. Besides your address on mymedical.mx, we can connect your clinic’s own domain.

Can my patients book online?

Yes, on every plan. Your clinic gets its booking page and you decide which treatments can be booked online. From the Consultorio plan you can also ask for a deposit on each one (card, OXXO or bank transfer); on Esencial they book without paying.

How do I take deposits by card or OXXO?

From the Consultorio plan, with your own Stripe account, which you connect from your clinic in a couple of steps. The money goes straight to your account, not to us. Stripe asks for your business details (RFC, address, ID and the CLABE where you receive deposits) and verifies them; that can take from minutes to a few days. Stripe charges its fee on each payment directly to your clinic (see their pricing at stripe.com/mx/pricing). Until you connect your account, patients can pay by bank transfer.
